Item 8.01

Other Events.

On August 11, 2026, Eric Foster notified Ardelyx, Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to resign as Chief Commercial Officer of the Company, effective August 28, 2026. Mr. Foster resigned to pursue a new opportunity with a pre-commercial company, and his resignation is not a result of any disagreement with the Company.
